1. Information you choose to share
When you contact Sol & Tide Energy or request an assessment, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, country, property address, electricity needs, bill information, messages and photos. Please share only what is relevant to your enquiry and avoid account numbers, identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive information.
2. How your information is used
We use your enquiry information to understand your requirements, prepare an initial assessment, respond to questions and discuss suitable next steps. The consultation form also includes your selected service country. The introductory privacy acknowledgement is not a marketing subscription.
If you request island launch updates, we store your email address, chosen island or territory and request date so we can notify you when service becomes available there. This does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. You can contact our regional support team to withdraw the request or ask for deletion.
3. Services involved in your visit
Sol & Tide operates the assessment form directly. Website hosting, security and data-storage providers also process information needed to operate the site. Loading external services, fonts or images can disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details to their providers.
We use Vercel for website hosting, Web Analytics for visits to selected public pages, and Speed Insights for browser performance measurements. These measurements help us understand page loading and responsiveness. Our tracking configuration removes URL query strings and fragments. Analytics and Speed Insights group submission-detail measurements by region without sending the private access token in the link.
Supabase stores enquiry information and supports our submission processing. Resend delivers enquiry emails. If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, your message is handled through that service.
Providers may process data outside your country and have their own privacy practices. A complete provider and transfer review is pending.
Assessment drafts on this device
Assessment notice version 2026-10-30-native-v3. Our directly operated assessment form saves your answers and current step in this browser, so you can refresh or return without starting again. Drafts expire after seven days and are cleared when you next open the form. They stay on this device until you submit them. Anyone using the same browser may be able to see them. Clear the browser’s site data to remove a draft.
When you submit, we save a request identifier with your answers to prevent duplicate submissions. After confirmation, the browser draft is deleted. Your private viewing link is sent by email. A submission awaiting confirmation retains its answers so the result can be recovered safely. Clearing browser data does not delete an enquiry already submitted to us.
When you submit or save changes, we record the request’s IP address and its estimated country, region, city and time zone when available, plus browser, operating system, device type and time to help our staff review activity and investigate technical or security issues. These details are estimates, not proof of identity.
We do not request browser location permission or collect device coordinates. IP-based areas can reflect a network provider or VPN exit and are not your verified installation address. Operation records are available only to authorised staff, under the enquiry retention and deletion arrangements below.
We use your contact and installation details to prepare your assessment and follow up, and our email provider sends a confirmation. Phone and email format checks do not verify that you own those contact details. Contact our team below to request a correction or deletion.
5. Retention and security
Submitted enquiries are stored for handling and follow-up. A fixed retention period and automated deletion schedule have not yet been established. We use technical access controls for stored enquiry data, but no online service can promise absolute security. Please do not send highly sensitive material through these forms.
6. Questions about your information
Contact either regional support team to ask about your information or request a correction or deletion. Include the email address used for your enquiry and, if available, your Submission ID. Please do not send identity documents or other sensitive information. We may need to verify that the request relates to you.
